Women Injured In Abortion Centers
Phoenix, Arizona (2001)
After losing his hospital privileges, Brian Finkel set up his abortion business in Phoenix, Arizona in the 1980's. Women began to complain of inappropriate sexual contact. Even his staff made complaints about him sexually harassing them and fondling sedated patients. The complaints went unheeded until 2001 when he was arrested on 16 counts of sexual molestation, one victim stating he held his hand over her mouth as he assaulted her. By the time of the trial in 2004, Finkel was facing 67 counts of sexual abuse and molestation. Of the one hundred women who contacted the police stating they were victims of his abuse, thirty-five actually testified, and the judge sentenced him to one year in prison for each of the women that testified. No one knows the actual number of women assaulted in his center.
Detroit, Michigan (2004)
It is illegal in Michigan to perform an abortion on a minor without parental consent or a judicial waiver. 15-year-old Tamiia Russell confessed to being 6 month's pregnant with her 24-year-old boyfriend’s child. His sister drove her to the Woman Care of Southfield facility to obtain an abortion. Tamiia bled so heavily she soaked through the mattress and died on the way to the nearest hospital from “Uterine infarction with sepsis, due to status post second-trimester abortion”. The abortionist, Alberto Hodari continued performing abortions until his license expired in 2013.
Maryland (2006)
Denise Crowe was four months pregnant. The abortionist Romero Ferrer began the abortion at 1:00 pm. Twenty-five minutes later, Ferrer was still pulling fetal parts out of his patient and administered 20 units of Pitocin via an IV solution. Five minutes later, he added 125 mg of Demerol and 5 mg of midazolam (Versed, a short-acting sedative and amnesia-producing medication). Because "pt. was still reacting to pain", Ferrer administered additional doses of Demerol and midazolam. It wasn't until 1:45 that Ferrer completed the abortion. Denise was moved to the recovery room, where at 1:47 a "surgical assistant" noticed signs of cyanosis (blue coloring) in her fingernails. A nurse assistant was unable to get a blood pressure or pulse reading on Denise and they were unable to resuscitate her. Ferrer continued doing abortions until 2010 when Maryland finally suspended his license. It took four years for Maryland to act.

Antonesha died after going into cardio-respiratory arrest.

Delta Women’s Clinic in Baton Rouge has a long history going back at least to 1998 of violations and filthy conditions. Two women, Ingar Weber (acute kidney failure) and Shelia
Hebert(cardio-respiratory arrest due to acute asthmatic bronchitis" after "surgical termination of pregnancy), are known to have died from botched abortions they received at Delta. In the 90's, the facility was pursued by the federal government for dispensing drugs illegally. Delta Clinic admitted that it failed to report the carnal knowledge of minor as required by law. Delta Clinic admitted that it failed to: provide pre-abortion counseling as mandated by R.S. 401299.35.6; maintain the confidentiality of patient records; gather and report complete information to the Office of Public Health Vital Records registry and failed to ensure sterilization of syringes and
intravenous injections to prevent infection and cross-contamination.

LaKisha Wilson had an anbortion at more than five months pregnant that led to her death. Abortionist Lisa Perriera dismembered LaKisha's baby. The abortion was given in violation of Ohio law that required a test for viability at 20 weeks and beyond. It is also believed LaKisha was beyond the 20 weeks allowed by Ohio law. In March and April two 911 audio recordings related to two separate abortion-related medical emergencies took place at the same clinic where LaKisha died. During both incidents, abortionist Lisa Perriera was on duty according to eyewitnesses".
